Teacher’s camp in Baguio was established in 11th December 1908 by Banquet Governor William Pack. And it was used as an accommodation by Philippine and American teachers. Where they were got training as well. In 1911 first building was built in Teachers camp with roads and pathways. In 1912 cottages was made for camp director and secretary.
Then later Ladies Hall, Teacher’s Hall, Tavera Hall, and the White Hall were built in this building. From 1936 to 1941 Philippine Military Academy also reserve a space here. And from 1942 to 1945 Teachers camp in Baguio used as a hospital for soldiers. Then in 1990 sports programs start holding in Teachers camp. And now there is a big athletic track as well.
Teachers from various parts of Philippines do camp training here during their summer break. So when teachers are not using the camp this is used as a tourist accommodation with dormitories, cottages, dining areas. On 12 May 2008 Teachers camp in Baguio declared a national heritage site. And for your information, some people believe that this place is a hunted place.
